GETTING STARTED
I provide you with HTML code that generates two purchase buttons for the book: one for a straight price and another that includes the Florida tax rate for Florida customers (this is where I am located). You paste these buttons into a page on your site, along with a version of the above-mentioned information. You may alter the appearance of this information to fit your site's style or color palette. In fact, I'd be eager to see your page!

EXTERNAL PROCESS
Clicking these purchase buttons take a visitor to my PayPal account where they proceed on their own with their order.

When I am notified of a sale via email, I upload a copy of the book to my server and send an email to the customer which includes: a link to the book and download instructions, a brief letter of thanks from myself and an invitation to write me if they have questions about the content of the book. The customer then downloads his or her copy of the book. All receipts and correspondance come to me.

INTERNAL PROCESS
Internally, when an order is received I will see your initials in the order's product ID and this is how I identify you as the sales Affiliate. (This product ID is embedded in the HTML code I send you, which is encrypted, cannot be altered unless you alter it, and present in every sale). After every sale I will send you an email with the customer's name, email address and date of purchase.

GETTING PAID
You will be paid $10.00 for each sale I receive that contains your unique product ID. This money is deposited into yor PayPal account, or we can make other arrangements. No refunds for the book are granted so the red tape and cost of issuing a refund is never a consideration.

IMPORTANT DETAILS

ADVERTISING NATURAL DESIGN
You are free to advertise in whatever venues you like provided your campaigns are in compliance with the Affiliate Marketing Agreement (below).

TRACKING SALES and CUSTOMER INFORMATION
I will provide you with a copy of the PayPal sales receipt after each sale. This receipt contains the information necessary for you to contact the customer and thank them for their purchase. I retain all receipts for every purchase made, but it is your responsibility to maintain your client lists and track your customers.

MAKING CONTACTS AND NETWORKING
I consider your visitors to be your contacts. My function is to process their order. I will not auto-add them to any of my own email lists, spam them or pitch any future products to them unless they visit my site and specifically request to be notified of something.

OBTAINING A COPY OF NATURAL DESIGN
You are not required to purchase a book in order to help sell it, nor can I give you a copy. Unfortunately there exist those who would feign seriousness in an attempt to obtain a free book. The information on this page gives ample evidence as to the book's quality and the table of contents lets you see what you are selling.
  

THE PROCESS AT A GLANCE

AFFILIATE MARKETING AGREEMENT

This is a legally binding affiliate marketing agreement ("Agreement") between _________________________ ("Affiliate") and Gloria Hopkins ("Author"). In this Agreement, Affiliate will perform in the capacity of Affiliate Marketer for the Author's product: a 148-page password protected electronic PDF document titled NATURAL DESIGN: Image Design for Nature Photographers ("Product"), written and owned by the Author.

In this capacity Affiliate will provide space on his or her website to display advertising materials and information about the Product, including two purchase buttons, provided by Author, which the visitor uses to purchase the Product. The Affiliate may use other marketing channels or web spaces to market the book, provided their campaigns comply with Items #1 through #8 below.

Author agrees to compensate Affiliate a $10.00 USD commission for each Product sold through the Affiliate's site(s). This commission is to be paid weekly unless other agreed-upon arrangements are made.

Affiliate agrees to the following eight (8) Items:

1. I have read and understand the guidelines in the US Federal Trade Commission's CAN-SPAM Act of 2003.

2. I agree that any site I place the marketing materials on does not contain the following:

• images or words of a sexual nature
• images or words promoting satanic worship
• images or words that promote hatred, terrorism or criminal activity
• images or words that promote human, animal or environmental neglect or abuse

3. I agree that Author is not responsible for any marketing or sales costs or responsibilities I may incur while marketing the Product.

4. I agree that I will sell no Product without using the buttons provided to me by the Author. Any attempt to collect payment for the Product will result in immediate termination of the Agreement and possible criminal charges.

5. I agree that I will not advertise the Product for less than the full amount of $24.00 USD plus any applicable sales tax, unless it is an agreed-upon arrangement between Agent and Author.

6. I agree that I will not offer refunds or guarantees when promoting the Product.

7. I agree that I will not give, loan or transfer a Product to a potential customer for evaluation purposes.

8. I agree that I am bound to this Agreement for seven (7) days after signing the Agreement. I agree that before I receive a commission, I must have marketing materials uploaded and visible on my site(s) and the purchase buttons must be working properly. I agree that I may not remove marketing materials from my site for seven days after signing the Agreement. I agree that after seven days the Agreement may be terminated by myself or the Author without penalty or obligation. I understand that I must provide written notice to the Author upon termination of the Agreement.

9. I understand that termination of the Agreement will result in the immediate revocation of all text and image-use permissions for the Product. All materials created or provided by Author will be completely removed from my site(s).
