PLANTS, TREES & FLOWERS
Some of the most stunning shapes, colors and textures in nature can be found in the things that grow. While trees and bushes are relatively easy subjects, flowers I have found more challenging. Wind and even a stiff breeze can give me a challenge.
I hope to do more flower photography in the future. I also hope to invest in some good macro lenses and try some abstracts with flowers.

FAVORITE TRIP
Hawaii Botanical Gardens, Hawaii
The hike down into the gardens was buzzing with mosquitos. There were so many of the little critters that the park staff supplied bottles of "Off" throughout the park for the visitors to use.
It is an absolutely stunning location and I highly recommend it for any flower or plant photographer.
FAVORITE FLOWER
My favorite flower has always been the Gardenia. Not only are the petals hearty and a beautiful cream hue, the fragrance is one of the finest in the natural world.
